Abstract

Farmer terms of trade in Maluku Province in March 2019 was 100.70 or decreased by 0.18 percent compared to the value in February 2019 (100.88). This was happened because lt was decreased by 0.35 percent, higher than the decrease of lb which was recorded at 0.16 percent. Two (2) sub-sectors experienced a decline in farmer terms of trade, namely food crops (2.09%) and fisheries sub-sector specifically the group of capture fisheries (0.20%).

In March 2019, Maluku Province also experienced rural deflation in the amount of 0.21 percent, ranking 23rd out of 33 provinces throughout Indonesia. The highest deflation occurred in the group of food material at 0.79 percent with the highest share in the amount of -0.37%.
